Logistic Manager

A Logistic Manager in this role will report directly to COO. He or she will be responsible for running warehouse and transport operations with the aim to maximize service levels while minimizing costs. A Logistic manager is expected to ensure operations that are accurate and performed to the company’s standards while dealing with human resources, information technology, customer service and finance.

Scope of Responsibilities:

- Manage and motivate a team to increase service levels and ensure efficiency; - Develop long-term planning, as well as short- and long-term budgets for the logistic department; - Design and execute best-in-class warehouse operations; - Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control;
- Analyze sales and forecast future volumes;
- Deal with staffing issues such as: potential staff interviewing, appraisals and performance reviews, as well as training and development;
- Ensure that standards for quality, service, health and safety are met;
- Respond to complaints and comments;
- Initiate changes to improve the business; - Manage the warehouse and transport fleet and administration staff;
- Build a positive image of the organization through a focus on service delivery and customer service;
- Manage performance and KPI reporting

Profile:

- At least 5 years experience in logistic operations;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong leadership skills;
- Experience in managing budgets; - Fluent English
